Lagi Lagan is a thumri based album, which has 9 tracks all in different mood. We have kept originality of thumri and have built the music around this by using contemporary style. Thumri at present is not known by the youth and bringing these beautiful melodies in to day's trend makes sense not only for the youth but also for the traditional thumri listeners.
This album is produced by Royant music and presented by BIG MUSIC of reliance Group. From the 9 tracks there are only three new compositions and the rest are traditional thumris, which we have blended in todays trend.
The album is released by A.R.Rahman at A.M.Studio in Chennai on the 08.08.08 with other celebs, MANI RATNAM, ABBAS TAYERWALLA, GULZAR SAHEB AND PLAYBACK SINGER SHAAN.
